Silas Peterson
Financial Advisor, Chief Compliance Officer, Co-Owner
Silas Peterson joined Financial Partners in January 2022 and now holds the roles of Financial Advisor, Chief Compliance Officer, and Co-Owner. He has a Series 65 Securities License and a New Mexico Independent Insurance Agent license.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Silas has called Santa Fe home since 2001. He studied French as an undergraduate at Portland State University and received a Master of Arts in Eastern Classics from St. John's College in 2002. His broad-based liberal arts education is both symptom and cause of his love of learning, which serves him well since Comprehensive Financial Planning is such a fickle and inconstant discipline. He assumed management of The Hire Firm, a New Mexico-based recruiting and staffing agency in 2004, and he continues to be involved with the company as Co-Owner.
Silas has had the privilege of serving the community in a number of leadership positions. He was Chairperson of the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce from 2018 to 2019. He served as President of the Northern New Mexico Human Resources Association in 2013 and 2014, and as President of the Rotary Club of Santa Fe Centro in 2014.
Outside of work, Silas enjoys life with his sweetheart Abby, daughter Calla, and a houseful of pets. He enjoys reading, music, learning to play guitar, and planning travel and adventures.
